Add the imposing RX-0[N] Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn to your collection with this RG 1/144 model kit from Bandai Spirits. Appearing in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, the Banshee Norn takes the already striking Unicorn design and gives it a dramatically darker appearance, combining deep navy armour with its luminous Psycho-Frame and distinctive gold head crest.
Bandai's Real Grade version recreates the Banshee Norn at 1/144 scale while retaining one of the design's defining features: its ability to transform between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode.
Transforming Real Grade Engineering
The transformation mechanism changes the silhouette of the completed model as armour panels shift to expose sections of the Psycho-Frame beneath. Clear components are used around the Armed Armor XC and Armed Armor DE, helping reproduce the exposed Psycho-Frame appearance when the Banshee enters Destroy Mode.
The characteristic head antenna is supplied with multiple options, including a movable version and fixed alternatives, allowing builders to choose the configuration they prefer.
The Norn's expanded equipment also gives this version considerably more presence than the standard Unicorn, with its large Armed Armor DE shield, backpack-mounted Armed Armor XC and upgraded Beam Magnum.

How to Build
The RG Banshee Norn is a more involved 1/144 build than a typical High Grade, particularly because of the transformation system and numerous moving armour sections.
A sharp pair of hobby nippers and careful nub cleanup are recommended, especially on the dark armour where stress marks can be more visible. The colour-separated parts and translucent Psycho-Frame mean the kit already has plenty of visual contrast without painting, while panel lining and the included markings can push the finished model considerably further.
Bandai's snap-fit construction means glue and painting are not normally required.
