With its dark armour, imposing Beam Scythe and distinctive stealth-focused design, Deathscythe is one of the most instantly recognisable mobile suits from the Gundam Wing universe.
The Master Grade treatment gives the Deathscythe a detailed internal frame, excellent articulation and colour-separated armour, producing an impressive display piece straight from the box while leaving plenty of scope for panel lining, decals and custom painting.
Master Grade Engineering & Scythe-Wielding Articulation
The Deathscythe EW uses the XXX-G internal frame shared with Bandai's MG Gundam Wing EW family. Particular attention was given to the wrist joints, allowing the completed model to hold and pose its oversized Beam Scythe much more naturally.
Clear green effect parts recreate the Beam Scythe's blade, while the weapon can also be stored on the backpack when not in use. The included Buster Shield features its deployable claw configuration and can be fitted with its own beam effect part.

How to Build
As a Master Grade kit, the MG Gundam Deathscythe EW offers a more involved build than Bandai's HG range, with an internal frame and greater part separation.
A sharp pair of hobby nippers and careful nub cleanup are recommended. The black and dark-grey armour looks particularly effective with subtle panel lining, while the supplied markings can add extra definition without requiring a full paint job.
The parts are supplied pre-coloured and use Bandai's snap-fit construction, so glue and painting are not required for a great-looking finished model.
