HG 1/144 Black Knight Squad Rud-ro.A - Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom
Elite Guard of the Foundation Forces
Join the ranks of the formidable Black Knight Squad. At Dragoon Gaming, we are proud to offer the HG 1/144 Black Knight Squad Rud-ro.A, the high-performance mobile suit utilized by the elite pilots of the Foundation in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. Featuring a distinct medieval knight motif and a menacing dark-toned color palette, the Rud-ro.A stands out as a unique and aggressive addition to any SEED-era collection.
The "SEED Action System" Revolution
The standout feature of this 2024-2026 release is the implementation of the SEED Action System. This internal structural design is specifically engineered to recreate the iconic, high-dynamic poses seen in the SEED series. With an incredible range of motion in the neck, shoulders, and midsection, the HG Rud-ro.A can perform deep lunges and dramatic sword-swinging stances that were previously only possible with extensive modification.
Why the Black Knight Squad Rud-ro.A is a Must-Have:
-
SEED Action System: Specialized joint engineering allows for extreme flexibility and stable posing for aerial combat displays.
-
Specialized Beam Cloak: Features a unique, translucent effect part for the Beam Cloak, giving the mobile suit a regal and ghostly silhouette.
-
Lethal Armament: Fully equipped with its signature heavy sword, a high-output beam rifle, and a specialized shield.
-
Knight-Inspired Design: The head and armor plates are molded with intricate detail to mimic historical knight armor, combined with futuristic thruster technology.
-
Color-Coded Molding: Recreates the suit's charcoal, gold, and red color scheme straight out of the box with Bandai’s excellent part separation.
How to build:
The HG Rud-ro.A is a smooth and modern building experience, making it perfect for both newcomers and veteran builders. At Dragoon Gaming, we recommend using a Gundam Marker GM-01 (Black) to define the panel lines on the dark armor and a GM-02 (Grey) for the lighter frame parts. To highlight the "noble" status of the kit, use the GMS-110 Fine Edge Set (Gold) to touch up the trim on the head and shoulders for a premium, high-contrast finish.
