HG 1/144 STH-20 Hekija - Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans
The Evolution of Teiwaz High-Mobility Engineering
Take to the skies with the HG 1/144 Hekija. Developed as the high-performance successor to the Hyakuri and Hyakuren, the Hekija represents the pinnacle of Teiwaz mobile suit development during the second season of Iron-Blooded Orphans. At Dragoon Gaming, we highly recommend this kit for its unique "bird-like" silhouette and its specialized close-quarters combat loadout, famously piloted by the legendary ace Lafter Frankland.
Master the Assault Form Transformation
The standout feature of the HGIBO #30 Hekija is its specialized Assault Form. By reconfiguring the feet and opening the high-output shoulder thrusters, the Hekija transitions into a high-speed configuration designed to overwhelm opponents in space. This kit utilizes the versatile Teiwaz Frame, ensuring a stable build with excellent articulation for dynamic posing, even in its transformed state.
Why the HG Hekija is a Must-Have:
-
Unique Melee Weaponry: Includes the devastating Tobiguchi Blade, a cleaver-like sword that can be mounted on the waist, and a Bayonet Rifle for versatile range-to-melee transitions.
-
Teiwaz Frame Articulation: Features double-jointed elbows and a ball-jointed torso, allowing for the wide-legged stances iconic to the IBO series.
-
Assault Form Gimmick: Includes parts-rotation for the feet and deployable thruster vanes in the shoulders to recreate high-mobility maneuvers.
-
10th Anniversary Must-Have: A core piece of any IBO Season 2 collection, perfect for recreating the fierce battles of the Turbines.
How to build:
As a modern High Grade, the Hekija is an excellent, beginner-friendly build that takes approximately one hour to assemble. At Dragoon Gaming, we suggest using a Gundam Marker GM-02 (Grey) for the light-green armor panels and a GM-01 (Black) for the mechanical frame. For the distinct "eye" slits, the GMS-110 Fine Edge Set (Metallic Green) will give the head unit a lethal, focused glow.
